- When Will I Receive My Order?
As leading wholesale coffee roasters, you can be sure that you will receive the freshest coffee possible from our roastery at The Coffee Officina. We will send our orders no later than 48 hours after you have placed your order with us.
We send all our orders with Royal Mail and will use a courier if the order is over 2kg.
- Do You Deliver Overseas?
Unfortunately due to the increasing complexity and Customs and Duty charge of crossing borders at the moment, we now only offer delivery to the United Kingdom until further notice.
However, if you still would like to go ahead with your order, please get in touch and we will happily take your order and quote for shipping if relevant. To find out more about Customs charges and taxation policies, please contact your local customs office or visit their official website.

- Can I Return My Order?
As coffee is perishable, we unfortunately don’t accept returns on roasted coffee. However, if there are any errors with your order or your coffee, contact us within 2 days of receiving your order and we will do our best to help.
If you wish to return brewing equipment, accessories or magazines, you will need to do so within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund or exchange any product after 30 days. Please note that your item must be in the same condition as when you received it, unused and in the original packaging.
- Do You Offer Barista Training Courses?
At The Coffee Officina, we want to help businesses to grow and a barista training course can help your café or restaurant to get ahead of your competitors. Therefore, we offer a variety of different levels of training, as well as coffee knowledge classes. These are held at either our roastery or your premises. - Can I Purchase Coffee Equipment From The Coffee Officina?
Yes! We have a wide range of coffee equipment for you to choose from either to use at home to enhance your coffee experience or for your café/restaurant. We stock the leading brands when it comes to our equipment, including Sanremo, Iberital and Fiorenzato. From espresso machines to coffee grinders, you can find the equipment that best suits your requirements in our range. All our equipment is top of the range and leading in technology for a seamless process.
- Can I Learn More About The Stages The Coffee Goes Through?
As well as providing our customers with delicious and flavoursome coffee and useful equipment, we also help customers and business to learn more about coffee. We have outlined the harvesting and processing of our coffee beans from the different types of picking right through to the pulp natural process, so you can have a better understanding of how your coffee got to your mug. - Do You Have Any Brewing Methods Techniques Or Equipment That I Could Use At Home?
If you would like to learn how to brew coffee in the comfort of your own home, you have come to the right place! Regardless of the style you want to try or the equipment you have available, we have a number of brewing methods to follow to produce the perfect cup of coffee. From pour over to using a French press, a moka pot and even an AeroPress, you can find the easy to follow steps on our brewing methods page or you can buy them here .
- Which Grind Size/Settings Would You Recommend?
Depending on the different type of brewing methods you would like to use, for example, espresso, Cafetière, AeroPress or pour over and the style of coffee you would like to drink (intense brew or more subtle flavours). We would suggest different grind size and settings. Either visit our grind settings page in our learn section or get in touch to find out more about settings and grind size. We do also have different brewing recipes here that will give you a good starting point for brewing your own coffee.
- Can You Explain The Information On Your Packaging?
Our packaging contains a lot of information to allow
all our customers to learn as much about the
coffee they are going to drink as possible. From the weight, and roast
date to the region where
the coffee was grown right through to the name of the farm where the coffee was
harvested and grown, you can learn about the journey of your coffee just from

- Do You Roast The Coffee Beans?
Yes! We roast our coffee at our roastery in Matching Tye, Essex. At The Coffee Officina, roasting is a vital part of the process to help to showcase the unique flavours that are locked inside the coffee. We believe that every type of coffee should be treated differently during the roasting process, so when we hand roast our coffee, we adjust the roast profile accordingly. What makes our coffee unique, is that we source our coffee from small farms and cooperatives around the world. We work alongside trusted specialty coffee importers and often we personally visit farms and cooperatives to find the perfect coffee for your morning, evening or afternoon coffee break! We have coffee from Brazil, Costa Rica and many more countries and regions! This variety means that you can choose between a nutty, fruity or sweet finish, whatever your preference!
