Cascara is the dried skin of coffee cherries. This is a wonderful by-product of coffee production which can be used to make a delicious brewed tea.
This batch of cascara comes to us from Migoti Hill, Burundi. The varietal is Red Bourbon, one of the most stable and well performing coffees, especially prised for its quality at higher altitudes. Purchases will support donations to the Kinama Clean water project – which aims to bring fresh spring water, year-round, to local communities.
The box contains 20g of Cascara (approx. 4 brews).
