This April marks a decade since Marcella and Rory opened The Coffee Officina in 2013.

Everything started with big dreams and a shared love of coffee. We worked hard to build a business that put quality, ethical sourcing and long-lasting sustainable relationships at the heart of everything we do. Today The Coffee Officina remains as strong, passionate and driven as ever before.

For this special occasion, we are releasing a coffee from one of our long-term origin partners Coopedota, Costa Rica. This fantastic coffee is a delightful honey process with notes of peach tea and grapefruit, cocoa and honey aroma with juicy body and clean acidity.

Celebrating relationships at Origin

Building long-lasting relationships with coffee growers and importers is central to The Coffee Officina ethos.
During our visit to Coopedota in Costa Rica, Luis (General Manager) shared a valuable insight into the people, processes and philosophy necessary for producing great and high quality coffee. We were very impressed by Coopedota’s commitment to sustainability and traceability. In 2011, they became the first coffee farm in the world to be certified carbon-neutral.

We are thrilled to have this coffee to offer again, and we look forward to sharing it with you in celebration of our 10th anniversary.
